Core Requirements to Start Training

  • Age: Minimum 17 years old to start training, but you must be 18 to hold a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and 21 for a full ATPL.

  • Medical Fitness: You must obtain an EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate from an approved Aeromedical Examiner (AME). This is the most critical first step to ensure you are physically fit for commercial flying.

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with strong knowledge of Mathematics and Physics.

  • English Proficiency: You must demonstrate fluency in English (spoken and written), generally at an ICAO Level 4 standard or higher.

  • Background: A clean criminal record (background check) is typically required.

  • Integrated ATPL:  a full-time, all-in-one intensive course, usually completed in 18–24 months.

  • Modular ATPL: a flexible, step-by-step approach allowing you to complete training at your own pace (PPL -> Hour Building -> ATPL Theory -> CPL -> IR -> MEP -> MCC), often taking 2–5 years.
